The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus, a World War II-era super-heavy tank from Germany, was armed with a 128mm KwK44 L55 main gun and a 75mm KwK L36.5 auxiliary gun, and boasted 240-60mm of armor. Its experimental electric drive system allowed it to reach speeds up to 18 km/h, despite its 188-ton weight. Only two prototypes were produced, tested by the German military but never used in combat. After the war, the Soviets captured and tested them, with one surviving chassis now on display at the Kubinka Tank Museum.
